ArcticNet invites you to Winnipeg, Manitoba for its 12th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM2016) to be held at the RBC Convention Centre from 5 to 9 December 2016. Funded by the Networks of Centres of Excellence of Canada, ArcticNet brings together scientists and managers in the natural, human health and social sciences with their partners in Inuit organizations, northern communities, government and industry to help Canadians face the impacts and opportunities of climate change and modernization in the Arctic.
With about 600 participants expected, the ASM2016 will be the largest trans-sectoral Arctic research conference held in Canada this year. Each year, the meeting draws the interest of international researchers, students, policy and decision makers, representatives of government and non-government organizations, the private sector, northern stakeholders and media to discuss and debate the latest in northern research and the development of new policies and strategies for managing the Arctic of tomorrow.
The ASM2016 will provide your organization with privileged access to the Canadian Arctic research, stakeholder and decision making communities. The exhibit area (Meeting Room 3-4,7-10) is located adjacent to the plenary session room and will include exhibitor booths as well as scientific posters. Coffee breaks and two evening receptions will be hosted in the area, providing you with high visibility with conference delegates throughout the entire week. Exhibitors will receive a number of benefits as part of their package.
