ArcticNet invites you to Winnipeg, Manitoba for its 12th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM2016) to be held at the RBC Convention Centre from 5 to 9 December 2016. Funded by the Networks of Centres of Excellence of Canada, ArcticNet brings together scientists and managers in the natural, human health and social sciences with their partners in Inuit organizations, northern communities, government and industry to help Canadians face the impacts and opportunities of climate change and modernization in the Arctic.
With about 600 participants expected, the ASM2016 will be the largest trans-sectoral Arctic research conference held in Canada this year. Each year, the meeting draws the interest of international researchers, students, policy and decision makers, representatives of government and non-government organizations, the private sector, northern stakeholders and media to exchange on the latest in northern research and the development of sound policies and strategies affecting the Arctic of today and tomorrow.
The ASM2016 will be an exclusive opportunity to gain exposure for your organization, demonstrate your commitment to Arctic research and enhance your visibility amongst influential leaders and decision-makers from the North and South from the science, policy, political, private and media sectors. Organizations wishing to contribute to, and participate in, this exciting event will be making a valuable contribution towards our global understanding of the Arctic while gaining access to a broad and diverse audience from across Canada and internationally. Meeting sponsors will receive a number of benefits as part of their sponsorship package. We will be happy to assist you in selecting the ideal sponsorship opportunity best suited to your organization.
