Harvesting of wildlife including fish, meat and fur-bearing mammals, as well as birds, has and will continue to be transformed due to climate and technological change, with impacts on commercial and subsistence harvesting, conservation and food security. This session will focus on the sustainable harvesting of wildlife resources that contribute to food security and economic opportunities, and how knowledge co-production can be implemented to ensure more resilient, culturally appropriate and ecologically balanced community adaptation.
